The successful candidate’s responsibilities will involve procuring and originating consumer-based residential loans. They will solicit, receive and originate applications, for the extension of credit to purchase or restructure properties and provide supporting service to consumer applicants. Ensures exceptional customer experience by overseeing loan processing from origination to closing, and providing on-going communication to customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proactive, have solutions based thinking, enthusiastic and outgoing.
Conducts initial intake interview and recommends loan solutions in accordance with lending guidelines and clients' requirements.
Structures the loan.
Manages a portfolio of customer relationships. Seeks prospective opportunities to retain and/or develop new clients. Responsible for sales calls and new client meetings. Establish relationships with local referral networks.
Develops and prepares loan solutions and refers products and services; reviews files and documentation to ensure compliance. Manages customer pipeline for efficiency.
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to complete mortgage transactions.
Collects and analyzes customer financial information for multifaceted and/or complex borrowers.
Provides daily and weekly updates to all parties.
Candidate must meet and comply with all the requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the required background checks and obtaining a Unique Identifier from the NMLS.
