My name is Josh Kahn and I am a Senior Vice President of Lending with Molitor Financial Group. To me, being a loan officer is about much more than helping a person secure money to buy a house. It’s a bigger responsibility than just closing a deal or quoting an interest rate, more so it’s about having genuine care for people. I relish the opportunity to take the entire journey with my clients, from initial concept to reality. My ultimate goal is to be your advocate and hold your hand the entire process, from that initial phone call until you’re being handed that shiny new set of keys. I strive to make the process smooth and as stress-free as possible, with no surprises. Dare I say, we might even have a little fun during the process! I am extremely proud of the fact that many of my clients have become personal friends, and numerous entire families have made me their go-to lender, which makes me feel like a small part of their family.
I was raised in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, and now live in Glencoe with my wonderful wife and two extremely energetic sons. In my free time I coach little league baseball and basketball, host friends for dinner parties, cheer on my Cubs/Bulls/Bears/Illini and play music in a local ‘Dad band.’
I have been working with MFG as a loan officer since 2011, following my previous career as a Steakhouse manager. I credit the restaurant industry for teaching me everything about exceptional customer service, sense of urgency, quality of product and follow through. These two similar yet very different career paths have proven to be extremely valuable in the way I conduct my business, and I absolutely love what I do.
I would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to discuss your family’s goals, whether it be for a new home purchase, refinance or cashing out equity. Please don’t hesitate to reach out anytime, I am looking forward to meeting and working with you soon!
